Good and creative food As an ethnic Chinese, I am always sceptical about modern or innovative Chinese’s food. But this place successes in making creative dishes while maintaining the spirit of Chinese cooking. The dishes are very carefully and well prepared, the meat are cooked to perfection with very interesting tastes. It’s a bit expensive though.
Splendid Having fallen out of love with my usual London fix for high end Chinese food.. I have now moved on to Hakassan. We go to the Mayfair one because worryingly it is round the corner from Bond Street (ouch) Having had an exceptional lunch there, I have also had an ok dinner and a quite poor one.. but the lunch was absolutely superb. Is it hit and miss then.. I think it might be.. but even the misses would make it very, very good.. so it's going to get plenty more chances. We do the dim sum (standard and special.. I'm sure they have better names) and beef rib and the merlot beef. When it was good it was a 9.. when it was poor it was probs a 6.5 (see what I mean)
Great meal This is the first time I have been to this restaurant and it’s well worth it, the food is amazing there’s so much choices to choose from, the service was excellent, the atmosphere is brilliant, most recommend dishes are below!
An anniversary dinner which was one to remember For the first time ever we thought we would give this restaurant a try, as we had heard a lot about it. Turns out it definitely lives up to the standard. Although me and husband aren't meat lovers we stuck to the vegetarian set menu and loved every dish.
The sake was also amazing...they have many flavours to try from and I could definitely recommend their apple favoured cold sake. It was nice and crisp.
This resturant is now one of our favourites and we definitely can't wait to visit soon.
Best Dim Sum ever ❤️❤️❤️ Booked the taste of Hakassan with cocktails for £38 per person and visited with my partner. The food was very tasty and the dim sum was the best I have had. Service was amazing and staff were very courteous and friendly. The ambience was great. Will definitely be back.
This place is a delight. High class Chinese fusion with a truly eclectic ambience. Fun buzzy atmosphere but the real show case is the food. From the dim sum - the king crab dumping was a personal favourite - to the roasted silver cod, all incredibly gorgeous. The jivara bomb for pudding was out of this world. Lives up to the high price billing and makes it an experience worth paying for.
Lovely experience. The ambience was great. And the service was very good. We went to have the Taste of Hakkasan menu. It is only £38 for an appetizer, a main, rice and salad, and desert. Not many options though but definitely a good teaser of Hakkasan's menu. The dim sum platter was amazing! There were shrimp, scallops and crab. I love them all. One of the desserts was also super super super delicious. The carrot cake was alright, nothing impressive. The exploding chocolate one was amazing! The crunchiness of the chocolate coating and the softness of the ice cream inside worked magic. Oh and there was popping candy on the side. Soooo nice :) The mains were beef and prawns (the only two avail for the taste of hakkasan menu). They were alright but not that great. I bet there were better main dishes.
£38 taste of Hakkasan with a cocktail Booked deal through open table £38 for set menu 3 courses and and cocktail of which there was 3 choices. Ambience is lovely, we were sat very close to another couple but lighting is very intimate so didn’t matter. Nice classy place. Would love to come back but would order from menu. Food was beautiful best dim sum ever!
Exquisite Hakkasan - I’ve heard great things about you and admittedly I didn’t think you’d live up to the expectations...& you didn’t, you surpassed them. Don’t hesitate, book right right away! Great food, excellent service and decent prices. Made our birthday date a wonderful memory and we can’t wait to return!
Drömmigt Gott! Jag och mina två vänner drack var sin drink och dem gjordes med mycket kärlek och ursnygg utstyrsel. Maten var fantastisk. Kan verkligen rekommendera biff merlot och spicy prawns. (Mycket starka dock) grymt bra! Även prisvärt.
Post Christmas Treat I have eaten at Hakkasan before in London’s Hanway Place and in Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. This visit was booked as a little treat after days of holiday cooking at home and it did not disappoint. We had the Taste of Hakkasan offer of 3 courses with cocktail.
The food did not disappoint and was freshly prepared and interesting. Portion sizes are small but the balance of fish, meat and vegetables was superb. Think of a sophisticated version of popular Chinese favourites, with great quality ingredients and subtle modern twists.
The place had more atmosphere than either of the other 2 Hakkasan visits I had visited. Having read recent reviews after booking, I was a bit concerned, but our experience from arrival to departure was very positive, with pleasant staff who did their best to make this a good experience.
Asian cuisine at its best Another London’s finest, Hakkasan Mayfair is my husband’s favourite restaurant in London and one we keep coming back on a regular basis. Its cool, dark atmosphere makes it perfect for couples dinners and celebrations. Service can be slightly slow at peak times but always very polite and mindful of any allergies and commentaries. Our favorite dish is the lobster which is served whole on a plate with noodles. It is probably one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, but then it’s very filling and the size is generous. Their dim sums are also amazing.
Fantastic experience as you would expect with the price range associated with this high-end restaurant! Its a place I go to infrequently and therefore expectations are very high, luckily the setting, experience, service and food all matched our high expectations.
Fun night out! This is the second time we've been to Hakkasan and the good news is that it is still as great as it originally was. The bar scene is fun. The decor has a hip vibe. And, the food was delicious. We were a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed the family style service. The wait staff were very professional and the meal was paced well and we didn't feel rushed. The chinese cuisine was excellent and we would definitely go back next time we are in London. Highly recommend if you're looking for great ambiance and excellent food and drinks!
Great food, too much staff. Really great dimsums. Good food but not extraordinary. The prices are too high. They could cut down on the staff. Three persons asked if we wanted more wine after we already said no.
Splendid After visiting Hakkasan in San Francisco, we hoped to experience same delicious food experience and we were not disappointed. The festive menu was simply excellent! Not cheap but worth it. The starter-salad with duck was amazing. And so was everything that followed, including dim-sum, steak, fish, shrimps. chicken - simply fantastic!
This was a fantastic restaurant. I pleasantly enjoyed every moment of dining at this particular place, from the instant I walked in to when I unfortunately had to leave. All the delicious food was served with pure kindness of the waiters/waitresses, it was almost as if they knew I needed their attention, they treated us with pure respect, like we were family. I strongly recommend, whether you're a tourist to London, or a resident that you try Hakkasan, as soon as you leave this wonderful place, you will wish that you could time travel back to the moment you entered; it is well worth it and one of the highlight of my life so far. Thank you so much to the staff and the restaurant for giving me an unforgettable experience.
Third time here but the service was off due to the crowd. The waiter wasn't friendly and he was rushing everywhere, we even received a wrong dish. The quality of foods is worth the price you are paying for!
