Hi all, I want to share my experience with this garage.
I had a previous post but because I use sensitive information my post was deleted.
So I order some parts with this garage last year in June 2023 (shock absorber all 4) for my Mercedes Cls plus labour i have ask for genuine parts so they said to me, they will order genuine parts from Mercedes.
All good I paid with instalments payments so they received the full amount of £1700 so they call me saying my credit has been approved now they have to order the parts.
The parts have arrived couple of days later they call me to book an appointment but with 2 days before the appointment i had a traffic collision, I called them if it’s possible to return the parts first time they said yes but the next day they told me the parts cannot be return as they are special parts and Mercedes they don’t accept return on these parts.
They communicate to me the parts or total amount will be held on their system so if i have another car they will fixed for free because i have a credit left in their system.
After 6 months my car was ready so i start rang the garage.
At some point the customer service were so annoyed because I call them twice a day/ dropped them email , I have to go my self From Birmingham to Solihull and his explanation was ‘I am not the single client’
My first booking was on 18.12.2023 like I said in the previous post at 08.00.
Nobody show up until 09.15 so i stay outside just me and the chauffeur from the garage (picking up car from the clients and drop their car) and the queue start to build up.
When the first employee arrive at 09.15 I go inside but he told me to wait outside because he got customers , I have replied I am also a customer and i have arrived first so deal with me first , he insisted to go outside and he will give me a shout when to come inside.
He apologised and he said that the car will not gone be fixed today because a lot off staff was ill , and I have decided to stay inside the reception to see if any other customers are refused, surprised I was the only one!
I wrote an email to the branch manager is the same day he didn’t bother to reply to my email . I wrote in the email my concerns and I have a bad feeling about this.
He confirmed my next appointment on the 21.12.2023, I come on the 20.12.2023 in the afternoon before the closing time I asked him very polite to show me the shock absorber before they will fitting on my car , after many requests he decided to show me the parts and when I saw them I was shocked, they were the cheapest shock absorber because I goggled it ,brand KYB £85 each.
I asked the guy from the office if these are my parts and also if these will be fitted on my car he replied Yes Definitely , we have some argue and he shout for a mechanic and also the mechanic tried to convince me these are genuine parts and Mercedes are not building parts which i know i think everyone knows. I took also a picture of them so I have a proof.
But I will not forget their faces when they tried to convince me that those parts are genuine!!!
In the same night i raised a complaint to small claim court!
It’s been settled but not on my terms because I have planned my holiday for this summer from last year I was afraid of loosing my vacation when I have the hearings!!
The manager said all the time these parts had been order by confusion.
Not recommended at all, all the dealers now accept instalments payments with bumper I didn’t know until now yeah I know the dealers are expensive but I’d rather go to the dealer than go through something like this again!

Bought a second hand car
From start to finish, the service we received was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Ahsan was very friendly and helpful. We received quick and easy communication. Fiat 500l
I bought a fiat 500l. I travelled from Norwich (160 miles each way) to view and test drive the car. The car was exactly if not better than described. Bought the car. Terrible!!!

Once this company has your money they completely ignore you or fob you off.

Communication is terrible.

Chase and chase “request as urgent” send emails phone calls, no one seems to be able to complete a simple task. Beyond annoyed!!!

Not bad
I'm usually very cynical about Car Sales companies but I'll have to say I was quite impressed by this lot.

I have been looking for the car I have recently purchased from Motor serv uk, for a while, and visited a number of dealerships in the process.

I have met some of the most underwhelming and uninterested sales people who haven't shown any interest in selling me a car, so much so I almost gave up! till Bart from Motorserv contacted me from an email enquiry I had made.

I can't commend him enough! the whole process from working out how he could get me the best deal that suited my budget and the price I needed for my PX to the level of communication through out the sale to the day I collected my car has been a great experience.

Just watch getting a car off these people
I brought a car bmw 318d 2012 off this company on the 10/2/2023.

At first, when I went into the company to meet the salesman (bart) I was happy meeting him and was promised the world, I told them I was not happy with the front tyres as they only had 3m tred left on them witch they did put new ones on for me, also the salesman (bart) said that he was going to get the wheels refurbished for me. I was happy with what the salesman was saying to me as he also put 12 months M.O.T and a new service on the car.

I was not offered a test drive in the car by the salesman (bart) and drove the car home after purchasing the car, when I was driving the car home the car was making a clunking sound from the front suspension when i hit a pot hole or went over speed humps.

There was a loud ticking noise coming from the engine so the minute I got home I contacted the salesman (bart) to let him know that this was happening, so he passed me through to a mechanic to book me in so they could take a look at the car, bearing in mind it's just had a new M.O.T on the car!!!

They booked me in for the inspection on the 14/2/2023 to cheak the car over.

when I went to look at the car Thoroughly when I was home; I found that they did not refub the wheels like I was told and just sanded back the curb marks on them as every wheel also had Bubbling all over them, I know I was told that they will do this as they wernt happy sending a car out with curbed and marked wheels and it was a freebe (good will gesture), but if you going to tell the buyer that your going to refub wheels then you do the whole wheel where it needs it surely!!!

I returned back on the 14th whitch I had to miss a day off work, to meet the appointment I went into the m.o.t/service department and the main service mechanic came out and took my keys to take my car for a test drive to see if he could hear the noise from the suspension (clunking) and the ticking noise from in the cabine of the car, I was then met by a other machanic not the same one saying he couldnt hear any of the noises that I explained so could I take him In the car so I could point the noises to him so he could confirm them to the senior mechanic, after taking the second mechanic out in the car with me with me driving the car and pointing them out to him, he clarified that there was a ticking noise from the cabin and a clucking sound from around the suspension area.

They then took my car onto the ramps to give it a proper inspection (this should've been done before I took the car and on its m.o.t).

After inspecting the car I was told that it needed two new track rod arms for my suspension and they could hear the ticking noise and they weren't to sure if It was the chain or not on the bmw,they wanted me to drive my car home after booking in for the work to be done and I was not happy with this so I went to speak to the salesman (bart) to tell him I wasn't happy that I had to drive my car away with these problems, when I went to see the salesman (bart) the sales manager (simon) overheard me speaking to bart and wanted to deal with this himself, went over to the service center and asked them if they can get work done today as I live quite far away from motoserv and was troublesome for me to get home and back without a car.

Sales manager (Simon) was very helpful but couldn't understand why I was so upset that they gave me a car with a new 12 months m.o.t on it and after there inspection they find these problems (how could it pass a m.o.t if parts needed to be changed?) I had been driving around in this car with my two young kids being present in the car! This is why I was so angry with the company who apparently do so many checks on their cars, making sure they were safe before leaving the company, and this car shouldn't have even passed an m.o.t.
The salesman (bart) was no where to be seen and he was the one that sold me the car witch I though was very unprofessional, like he did not care that this was happening and had to leave it to his manager (Simon).

Also when I brought this car I was told through email from bart I would get a £2000 extended warranty cover on the car for a year and paid £350 for this then to find out it was only £1000 cover for the year shocked me, when I told sales manager (Simon) this and because of all the trouble I have had he tried his best to rectify everything and gave me an extra year warranty and breakdown cover.

I have motorserve club with this company what gives me lifetime m.o.ts and other things I.e servicing,wheel alignment etc but I will tell you now I will be staying clear of this company and not be using this free m.o.t for a year etc because of all the problems I have had with my car and I wouldn't feel safe with there m.o.ts that they do after finding out the issues with my car and having to drive around with my kids in the car..

This is just my view and experience of this company and if it was not for sales manager (Simon) then I would be driving in a unsafe car.
I don't like putting reviews like this up but people need to be aware what is going on in this company.

I have the car going to bmw for inspection to Double cheak this car and work done and think that motoserv should be banned from doing any M.O.T in the future.......

Lovely car, average prep
Bought an Infiniti Q50s. Handover was great, helpful and informative.
I definitely would expect more attention to detail with preparing the car though.
The paint chip which was missed was dealt with amicably with a discount.
But, as the wheels have been refurbished, which involves I understand machining a thin layer off, they should be balanced after, and they haven't been, so the car is incredibly uncomfortable at motorway speed.
There is no way a local pre purchase test drive could have revealed this as all the local roads are slow and m42 was too full to get above 50. It should have been checked properly after the wheels were sorted not left to me anyway.
Will have to take it straight to a tyre shop before I can actually go anywhere in it.

Amazing experience and easy process

Insane service from Ahsan and the team
First of all, want to say thanks to Ahsan for making the collection go my 335i special. A very rare car to come by and in the spec as well. Ahsan made the collect very simple including part exchange of my previous car. Cannot fault him and his service is second to none. I purchased a Volvo S60 recently, the salesman Bat was very professional at all times and very polite.
Unfortunately the car had a few problems when I got it home which were not covered by warranty. I contacted Motorserv who were outstanding, they refunded what I had paid to get the faults analysed by Volvo and collected the car to put the problems right.
This is not your usual 2nd hand car dealer. If you want to buy a used car, buy from Motorserv. I will certainly be buying my next Range Rover from them in the next year.
