Mercedes C200 Estate AMG Line Night Edition
Amazing experience from first enquiry to delivery.
I was looking at a few different cars, but the attentiveness of Adrian and the customer service that followed gave me no other option to purchase this vehicle from them. The part ex price was amazingly fair and right up with the best prices I had been quoted and the subsequent paperwork aspect was smooth and conducted swiftly. Adrian arranged delivery of the Mercedes and the collection of mine the same day - the delivery driver was also lovely and the first thing he did when he arrived was gift me a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates from the company director.
Overall, just a lovely experience and I’m over the moon with my new car.

Exceptional customer service!
After being stung by another car dealership, I bought a vehicle from Crystal Motor Company. I was made to feel valued, secure in the knowledge of warranty etc and Louise was very welcoming and made me feel at ease and comfortable with the transaction. Nobody was pushy.

From the moment that I contacted the dealership, through to collecting the car 3 weeks later (due to my availability), the whole process was seamless.

I dealt with Adrian who is a credit to Crystal. He was courteous, professional and extremely helpful. I reserved the car, arranged a time to view, where the car was ready for me to take for a test drive. No pressure and no drama. It was brilliant.

After the test drive, I told Adrian what I wanted addressing/checking on the car, prior to collection. He agreed to all of it, without any issue. That gave me more confidence than I already had.

I also asked for the car to be detailed and ceramic coated (at a reasonable cost) and Luke has done a phenomenal job.

On collection, Luke walked me through the car and it's functions. Louise helped in completing all the paperwork.

All in all, a great car buying experience. It's an awesome car and I'm so thankful to all the team at Crystal.

From initial contact telephone call from Shropshire all was handled with care and consideration. Invite was made to visit the car, and was assured that the sale would be transparent and professional. Nice family run business 🤩
Great team very friendly and helpful.

Had a few teething issues with the car but the team assured me to sort the issues and delivered me a courtesy car.
I took out the warranty for the year and have said just call us with any further issues. 🧡
Very happy overall with the way things have been handled couple bits of paperwork to still get and v5 I’m sure is on route.
Big thank you to Cliff Adrian and Louise 🤩 I will be back as I’m sure the misses is gonna want something else soon.

Terrible aftersales false promises
Purchased a car from Crystal Motor company Ltd, Northampton October 2024. On agreeing to purchase the car, it was agreed they would put a new/fresh MOT on it, powder coat the rear wheels that were badly corroded, replace both rear tyres and carry out rectification of the cars paintwork in several areas. On collecting the car, I found that no fresh MOT had been carried out, the wheels had not been powder coated, just painted, even managed to paint over the stainless split rim bolts, and the defective areas of paintwork had had some kind of shoe polish applied that came off when touched. The owner Clinton Hopper, agreed they had failed in their promises, blaming his sales team, and reduced the price of the car slightly which only just covered the cost of getting wheels powder coated properly. Car came with a multi point check sheet showing all items of car that had been checked prior to collection e.g, radio, windows, tyres, brakes, seats etc etc. Within a week of owning the car, and having covered around 500 miles in it, found that the front brakes were in such a dangerous state (metal to metal with brake pads & discs, result being seriously affected braking efficiency) that I had to immediately stop using the car until the fault could be rectified. Also at time of repairing the brakes, found a front near side suspension spring broken, which could quite easily cause dangerous handling of the car. Later the same week, the exhaust back box was found hanging down from the car, on investigation, found the back box mounting bracket completely rotten away. All these defects would have been picked up on a fresh MOT if one had been carried out as promised. The car really should not have been driven if these faults were evident at time of purchase, but having the check sheet, it said everything was indeed ok, so nothing to worry about?. I contacted Crystal Motor Company within 4 days of purchase regarding the defects, and from that point on, I have been passed from Clinton to his daughter Louise (Office manager/after sales) and back again many times, with false promises, suggestions that I don't know what I'm talking about, aggressive verbal responses from them both, and at no time are they prepared to rectify any of the issues, even though they say the car came with a 3 month warranty, they seem to never want to honour it, or deal with any issues going forward, as the warranty supplied is an in house warranty where they decide whether they may pay out or not. I have even suggested that all I would like is re-imbursement for the cost of parts that I have had to purchase to make the car roadworthy again, but all you get is that they will get back to you, but rarely do and are are too busy to deal with your concerns.
When I suggested that the car was in a dangerous state to have been driven even though their multi point check said something quite different, they immediately commenced the merry go round of excuses and false promises and not really grasping the point that the car was not fit to be driven on the road, not a very professional caring attitude.
Its all basically down to whether you happen to get lucky and manage to purchase a car that doesn't have any issues post sale, as they have zero interest in sorting anything out, maybe a reason as to why they don't seem to be a member of any motoring profession, judging be the other poor reviews.
Its a shame to say, but Avoid.

Amazing Service
An absolute pleasure to deal with, when we arrived we were left with the freedom to walk around the forecourt and look at all of the cars without a pushy sales person badgering us.

Once we had found the car, we went to the office and was greeted by Louise who was friendly and welcoming

A deal was negotiated and we brought the car on Friday.

The car was ready by Tuesday for collection with a fresh MOT & Service.

Again when we collected we was made to feel very welcome by Louise, Clint and the rest of the gang with my husband talking cars for a while

We had a family emergency whilst there but again the team were really supporting and told us we could leave the car and come back later for it.

Overall a lovely experience, you can really tell this is a family business with a family focused vibe running through the heart of their culture ❤️

I recently bought a car from here and from the offset they was very welcoming , they made me feel like everything was my choice, no pressure in any decision made, when looking around the car me and my partner were left to look together so no one was breathing down our necks whilst doing so which is a big postive as nothing worse than being watched, they are very accommodating and will do things at your pace and speed , very polite staff, the actual dealership is in an immaculate condition which is also a postive when purchasing a car, overall a brilliant experience couldn’t recommend this company more to family and friends . Adrian our salesman was brilliant so polite and genuine, and the owner also always came and said hello too and was incredibly polite , couldn’t fault 10/10 x

Fell in love with a Scirocco on Crystal Motor’s website - I submitted an application for finance and within 10 minutes I had been approved and had a phone call from Adrian to discuss coming in and about part exchanging my current car. They went above and beyond with any/all queries that I had, they valeted, serviced & MOT’ed the car before collection and even changed a part that I had queried previously, free of charge. Collection of the car was seamless, and Clint made sure I had all of the information & paperwork needed before leaving the forecourt, as well as an incredibly detailed PDI including pictures of brake pads etc. Definitely recommend to any one looking for their next car, easiest car I’ve ever bought! 😊
